Carrying a crate of alcohol as he entered the brothel, the human, Jonah, struggled to push the door open and lug the wooden box. The midday sun was reflecting fiercely off the seawater and he was sweating heavily. He looked around and noticed a few women lounging on the sofas. He shook his head, “Get to work, lazy wenches.”
“Fuck you, Jonah,” the Night Elf responded. She leaned her head back and lifted a leg on top of the sofa’s backrest. The human shook his head again and walked down the cellar. Fifteen minutes later, he emerged from the cellar and blinked as he saw a auburn hair male elf leaning back in a chair. A blond elf female sat behind him with her arms around his shoulders and her head resting against his back.
“Well, look what the storm dragged in and I see you haven’t lost any time. You have thing for blondes, don’t you?” Jonah grinned and walked up to the table.
“I’ve been here for hours already.”
“I didn’t see you walk in, Wolf.”
Cristianno rubbed his eyes, shrugging a bit. “You weren’t here.”
            “Where’s Ziggly?”
Cris shrugged again, “Who knows He isn’t always with me, you know.”
“So I noticed. So, what brings you back to our humble little home?” He chuckled coldly as he grabbed a chair, turned it around and straddled it.
Leaning his head back against the blonde, Cris sighed and closed his eyes, “I spent the night with her…”
“With Lana?” Jonah pointed at the blonde behind Cris. She lifted her head and only stared at him with her blue eyes.
            “No, my….my woman.”
“Oh, so she finally gave in, eh? Was it any good?” Cris glared at him. “Okay, okay, but you must be happy now. What brings you here then with that whore?”
            “I lied to her, Jonah.”
Jonah laughed, “You lie to your woman and in order to repress the guilt, you come here and fuck a whore. Classic.” He continued laughing, shaking his head.
            “Shut up, Jonah.”
“Alright, so how severe is this bloody lie?”
Cris sighed and moved his head down. Lana’s embrace tightened around him as she nuzzled against his back. “Severe.”
“Well, it’s done, so why not take Lana upstairs and have a good time, eh?”
A bag of coins fell onto the table. Cristianno muttered, “It’s been done.”
“You don’t lose any time, do you? Excellent!” Jonah reached for the coins and smiled. “Is there anything else we can do for you? Maybe another round?” Cris shook his head and sighed. “Don’t look like a pussy, Wolf. You know you enjoyed Lana and I know you enjoyed your woman, unless she was some frigid wench.”
            “Shut up, Jonah.”
“Well, then? You’re a man! That’s what we do! She should just deal with that fact.” Jonah pulled out a gold coin and bit the metal. “Besides, you’re not just any man, Wolf. You’re a pirate.”
Pirate. You’re not a pirate anymore, Cris…You need to get away from this scum… Kahlen’s words echoed in his head and he recalled how he tried to defend pirates and what they did. Not all pirates are bad. He really believed that, but here he was, in another woman’s arms after promising that Kahlen would be the only woman he would ever be with. He sighed in defeat, to which the woman responded with a soft hand moving his long hair away from his back and her lips kissing his neck.
“I think she’s ready for more, Wolf,” Jonah grinned as he rose from the seat. “Round two?”
Cris shook is head. “I need to go.” He grabbed her arms and tried to unlock them away from him. Lana whimpered and slowly moved away. “And tell your whores to stop talking about me.”
            “What?”
“People are starting to hear rumors about me coming in and out of here.”
“You are a popular man, Wolf. I would be surprised if I didn’t hear about you out there.”
“Well, stop. The last thing I need is some bitch telling my woman that I sleep around.”
“You’re an animal, Wolf. No one can tie you down.”
Cris rolled his eyes and stood from the chair. Lana followed and placed her arms around his waist.
“Thank you, Wolf,” she grinned, her hand gently pulling his chin toward her. Cris glanced at her and leaned in to kiss her roughly. She gripped at his shirt as he yanked her toward him. With the same force, he pushed her away.
            “I need to go now.”
Jonah laughed and jingled the bag of coins in his hand. “We’ll see you again tomorrow then?”
Cris shrugged and walked out the door, tying his hair back and adjusting the blades on his belt. The sun blinded him. He lifted his hand to his eyes and walked away with his head hanging low, but eyes looking around cautiously.
