34. You're Mine

Rain disappeared off the ship and wandered off through Stormwind alone. When she returned, the search party was called off and Ziggly, who really dislikes Rain, was determined to bring her back to Cristianno. This is only part of the full story, which I will not post here due to adult content. However, here is the beginning of the story.

The gun’s barrel was pointed at window. To anyone watching him, one would say that he was simply pointing at the window, or the water that surrounded the ship at Stormwind Harbor, but to his keen eye, the experienced marksman knew exactly that if he shot his pistol, the human fisherman across the bay would drop like a fly. The quiet rage within him at that moment was enough to kill the entire city of Stormwind if he had to, and that was something that would have never crossed his mind until now.
“If one of you hurts her…” he whispered softly, as if the small figure of the fisherman could hear him. The door swung open and he turned, his pistol still pointed at the window. Rain was shoved in, followed by Ziggly, whose anger was beyond him.
            “Found ‘er.”
Cris placed his pistol back into his boot and moved toward Rain. At that point, he ignored the goblin, looking only at her as she removed the tinted glasses from her eyes. He wasn’t angry, but for a moment he felt that he had just shared his precious gem with the rest of the city and he was not pleased. The goblin continued to talk and Cris simply said, “Get out, Zig.” After being talked back to, Cris sharply reiterated what he had said, forcing the angry goblin to slam the door behind him.
"Rain, don't ever do that again.” He held her close, unable to tell if he was holding too tightly, but for a split second, it didn’t matter to him. He didn’t want to lose her. He thought of all the times she reached her delicate hand out to meet and greet strangers. How many touched her while she was out there? How many men did she meet? He wasn’t one to be jealous because he knew she was his and he really didn’t feel any competition, but this time, everything was out of his sight and control. This time, the very thought of anyone touching Rain drove him mad.
He lifted her head with a finger and looked into her green eyes before reaching down to kiss her lips. There was a sense of urgency behind his kiss, which she responded just as eagerly. Her need was comforting to him, but he wanted more. He wanted his woman.
He stepped back, pulling her with him, their lips locked, tongues caressing each other, as he reached for the cabin’s door. His hand sought the locks clumsily until he heard the actual latch click into place. Leaning against the door, his hands creeped up her neck and into her short strawberry blonde hair. His lips pulled away from hers and they both gasped for a breath of air, but Cris returned his lips to her neck, kissing and nipping his way up to her ear. Almost breathless, he said in a low whisper, “I love you, Rain.” With a gentle force, he cradled her head in his hands and pressed his lips right against the skin of her ear. “You’re mine…” he whispered once more, this time, with a low growl emerging from his throat and filled with the jealousy that had consumed him earlier. He heard a gasp coming from Rain, but she pressed against him as he lowered his arms around her, their eyes meeting once more.
